Double Sided Halloween Sign

Chalk Couture is NOT just for chalk boards. Check out this fun 5"x5" box frame which you can design on both sides AND around the edges! I have several different plans for this incredibly versatile surface. But let's start with HALLOWEEN!

I started with the wooden side for my first design. Happy Haunting from the Halloween Phrases transfer. I used Black Velvet paste for the house, then blended Black Velvet, Papaya & Harvest (shimmer gold) chalk paste for the words. Using Bright White Paste, I chalked a skull from the All Hallows Eve Minis transfer onto a black Chalk Chip to use for an accent on that side.

After I dried the wooden side, I flipped it over for the white side. EEK! I blended the Papaya & Harvest (shimmer gold) chalk paste for the word and used Black Velvet for the spider. For an accent piece, I used Black Velvet paste to chalk a vintage black cat onto a white Chalk Chip.

Then, using design accents from the Halloween Phrases transfer along the edges of the box using Black Velvet & Harvest Shimmer pastes. Be sure that your edges are REALLY dry before moving on to the next edge.

After everything was properly dried, I used Gorilla Glue to adhere the accent pieces to the top of the frame.
