For my first #Cricut Infusible Ink Project, I choose to use the #InfusibleInk Pens to create a fun summer tote bag. It's GREAT that the pens can be used in the Cricut machines. So, I used the Black Infusible Ink pen to draw the a mandala on a simple piece of 20# laser copy paper. (Remember to MIRROR the image before starting your Cricut!)

I let my Cricut do the hard work of drawing a perfect mandala.
I think use the other Infusibile Ink colors that Cricut sent to color in some areas of the mandala.

Time to prep the tote bag:
- Clear bag of all bits of lint by running over the surface with a lint roller
- Place a piece of butcher paper on the surface and press for 15 seconds at 385 degrees using a Cricut Easy Press 2 and let surface cool
-Place a piece of white cardstock inside the tote in case the color bleeds through a bit.
Don't skip the prep! It ensures the ink fuses perfectly into the fabric.
Put the design face down onto the tote and secure in place by using heat resistant tape.

Cover the design with a sheet of butcher paper.
Press with the Easy Press 2, 385 degrees for 40 seconds.
Let cool completely before removing the layers.
Voila!

The colors came out perfectly vivid & vibrant! I'm really looking forward to getting all the colors of pens. So many possibilities!
